May in Utah, the month of all-you-can-experience

Last weekend, it snowed here in Utah like Christmas. Snowflakes as big as a quarter fell as if the sky was trying to empty out everything left in it from last winter. Yesterday, the beautiful Saturday morning was followed by dark clouds and rain drops. Somebody must have been really pissed off by people gleefully soaking themselves in the spring’s smooth sunshine and fresh greenness. Well, whoever that was left double rainbows behind. Like an apology scribbled across the sky.

The change of seasons is never a clear-cut transition–it’s rather a spectrum. But in Utah, the winter-to-spring shift is more like an all-you-can-experience period. Of course, only until the scorching heat pierces through everything.
